'Pastor-Editor'----that title does not obtain for JH, the new editor of 'Outlook.' He was a 'pastor'; he's now an 'editor.' He's also part of the 'group-think' mentality of the PUP Task Force and should not, under any circumstances, either before or after the General Assembly make editorial comments re: the PUP recommendations. To do so will obviate the vaunted 'independent voice' (see Lawton Posey's piece) of 'Presbyterian Outlook.' - Walter Funk

Jack.. I admire your integrity and honesty as you attempt to walk a delicate line in wearing two very demanding hats.

Knowing you and your dedication you will carry off both tasks most capably as you have discharged your responsabilities as Pastor at Clear Lake and your committment to the Task Force. God Bless you as labor in both roles for the good of our beloved denomination... Happy New Year.. Jim Babcock - James Babcock

For the intergrity of the paper, it would be my opinion that an editor should not make any comments about such a devisive issue, evem after the GA takes action or no action. - will fletcher
