<description>'I am not an expert in this area, nor have I conducted extensive research, as Griffin claims he has done. '

Why would you write an article that is obviously against this work by David Ray Griffin?
Try DOING some research and you will find that it is a lot simpler of a conspiracy than you would imagine. Start at: st911.org

View the movie 'Improbable Collapse' and '911 Mysteries'. That will take 2 1/2 hours out of your life to study something that may be the downfall of our way of life if we don't wake up and DO something other than sit back and watch what happens next.

And as for Timothy Cargal's response...
For what? How about WWIII and the ensuing BILLIONS for someone to make? No one said the buildings were rigged to blow up over a weekend. If anything they were rigging them for MONTHS ahead of time since neither of the two towers were over half filled with tennents. And the owners were moving them a! round to different offices while they did cable upgrades in the weeks prior to 9/11. ANYONE who takes the time to look at the #7 building collapse HAS to come to the conclusion it was controlled demolition. Try something new...thinking for yourself and look at the RHEEMS of evidence plastered all over the WWW and start at the st911.org link.

<description>While I concur with both reviewers of Griffin's book that there is much worth consideration in its second part dealing with Christian resistance to both ancient and modern imperialism, I strongly disagree with the view that its allegations against the Bush administration are 'formed into a well-crafted argument.' Is there any reasonableness to a conspiracy theory that holds that multiple floors of three buildings could be rigged with demolition explosives over a weekend with no one noticing--and that any conspiracy to bring down the Twin Towers would feel compelled to rig World Trade Center 7 for collapse as well. (For what? To assure sufficient outrage?) The association with such scurrilous and baseless accusation diminishes to almost nothing the likelihood that the needed critique of imperialism will be taken seriously. - Timothy Cargal</description>
